Brian Miller is an artist, curator, writer and teacher. His work has been exhibited internationally, including recent exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Smithsonian Institution,  the Heard Museum, the Newport Art Museum, and Dartmouth College’s Strauss Gallery. Recent curatorial projects include "Shadlowplay: Transgressive Photography at the Hood Museum of Art" in Hanover, NH, "Office Space" at the Rockland Center for the Arts in Nyack, NY and the New Arts Center in Newton, MA. Miller taught in the Studio Art Department at Dartmouth College for twenty years and is currently on the faculty at Franklin Pierce College. He has been a visiting artist at RISD, Roger Williams University and Plymouth State College.

His current body of photographic images is about training himself as a non believing practitioner of the Snake Handler religion. He lives and works in New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
